Recordings Coming Soon

Nathan | Saturday, October 11th, 2008 | News | No Comments

So, everybody.  You may have noticed that your (at least my) favorite band, Silent Trio, has no more gigs lined up.  That’s partially because we’re awesome, but mostly because we’re focusing on getting as much stuff written and recorded as possible over these next couple of months.  Keep an eye out.  They shall be announced on our MySpace and here.

I’m in school for music, and it’s taking up a lot of my time, so this break should allow me to make much more headway on songwriting.  We’ve got a few upcoming piano/organ songs.  And they kick ass and face indiscriminately, and are appropriately titled for their lyrical content, or whatever.

Our plan is to be back gigging by the beginning of 2009, and by then have 2 solid sets, and an album.  And some T-shirts.  I’m announcing this right now without running this by anybody else in the band.  I feel like Frank Black, only not as fat and awesome.  Pay me no mind.

We missed you at our Thursday gig

And, I mean that nearly without exception.  Of all the over 6 billion people on the planet, only 13 were there, including us and the inimitable Stick Martin Show.

It was awesome.  Oh yes.  And I got a free pitcher of beer.  Which I would’ve shared with you, but of course, you fucked up.

Show last friday…

Robert | Monday, September 29th, 2008 | News | No Comments

We played a show last friday.

Yeah, that’s about all I gotta say about that.

Video of our September 13th show

Nathan | Sunday, September 21st, 2008 | News | No Comments

Hey everybody, we finally got the full edited video of our September 13th show up for your viewing pleasure. (embedded video after the break)

In other news, I’m getting a Classic Maple Soloette, which is a funky little classical guitar that works through distortion and everything, so several of our songs will be able to exist in their original forms.  Hope to have it by our show this Friday, the 26th, but I probably won’t debut it at least until the Oct 2nd show.

Things are looking good for She Bleeds being ready for the show this weekend. Watch the video of our show.

We’re working on replacing our horrifyingly bad recordings with some not so horrifyingly bad recordings.

He’s some fancy pictures of nathan and robert working on the rock and roll. (nathan is the one in the grey shirt, robert in the yellow short… duh).

Keep an eye on our Events page.  We’re working hard on getting gigs, and we’ve got two scheduled.  Also, if MySpace is more your thing for staying current on events, add our profile to your friends, and we’ll keep you updated there as well.
